2x pacific and 1x atlantic summer trips lesgoo
Long ass travel yesterday.
Got packed in the morning, Tiff made ube pancakes and sausage, and after her nails she took me down to airport. Felt like the old times and that first time she told me she loved me 🥲 Lotsa kisses and a bittersweet parting
Seeing all the GHWIC team and other partners was fun. Lots of laughter in the terminal before Seattle. First flight was fine, flying outta turbulence on the west side was fun. Taught Janna how to make an origami flower and spent a bunch of time on my iPad drawing and watching Bob's Burgers.
Seattle airport was cool, lots of wood and airy. Went to good Vietnamese place for dinner but it was like $25 for everything 😵💫
After rooibos tea and catching some of the team downing some pints, it was time to fly again.
Sat next to Michele and Daytona for the flight to Anchorage. Michele was chillin on movies on her ipad and Daytona was watching Lion King and falling asleep. Big low pressure system is creepin from the Atlantic and caused some kinda gnarly turbulence an hour out 😵💫 Kept cool w/ breaths and my grip trainer and made the approach bumps seem EZ. Getting first views after cloudbreak was pretty awesome 😎

Had one more wait for rentals. We got two big ass black SUVs. Had my subliminal requests for Taco Bell on the way home ignored, but honestly was probably better for my reflux. I kinda meandered awake until 130, which was 330 MW time 🫨
Slept a solid 6 hours and am lovin the chill-er weather. Dark Horse Coffee is cool, good quiche, good coffee, counterperson has twin braids and really calming blue eyes. Gonna do this bike ride around the coast and explore downtown, I'm probably gonna be hanging with Jered from FNCH a lot this trip, which is good cause we are definitely outnumbered by Native ladies here, and that can be kinda dangerous lol
