Today has been a whole lot of DRIVING. Dad and I made a stop at Caribou Coffee before peacing out of Minnesota, and soon we were back on the open interstates. Driving through the Midwest sucks, as a lot of people probably mention. For the most part, it's been a whole lot of grassy plains and scummy gas stations with scummy bathrooms. We made a stop midday in Des Moines at a Chipotle, and other then another stop later at a Dairy Queen, there's been nothing else too exciting at all. We made it to Kansas into Wichita by the evening, and after checking into the hotel, we took a drive into downtown (kinda getting lost in the process), and we ate at this place called Caffe Moderne. Dad and I had some delicious grilled paninis with some tasty salads and some lemonade for dinner, and we had some incredible gelato for dessert. We took a small look around the old town square are of Wichita, and then we came back to the hotel, hopefully getting ready to crash early and leave early tomorrow morning.
Albuquerque tomorrow! Boy oh boy, there's no other feeling then COMING HOME again.
