Man I hope these five hour days of sleep end sometime soon...
Today's been a whole lot of travel yet again. We sped outta there by 630 in the morning and covered a ton of Midwest territory. Not too many interesting stops...truck stations, Krispy Kreme donuts, watching The Informant on the road with Dad...it actually seemed to not take too long to get into Lansing this evening. We went and visited their old home and the hospital where Cookie was born, and the memories were shooting back into Mom and Dad's own consciousness. Pretty cool. We went towards the campus area of Michigan State and got some drinks and sandwiches at a place called The Peanut Barrel. Mom's 2nd maragarita was pretty strong! Back at the hotel, Chey and I hung out in the hot tub and talked for a while.
Time for bed. Another abbreviated sleep session. Ah well. CANADA TOMORROW!
