Today started by going back and forth a little bit. I started my processing for my job, but I had to go home and back because I needed my birth certificate. The assistant manager, Ryan, and I did a bunch of paperwork for a while and some other orientation things, but now I am officially a payroll enlisted member of the greenskeeper staff. Sweet! I practiced for a while afterwards, especially a lot of short game, and though I was having some trouble hitting irons and losing shots to the left, I still felt ok about today's session. I went to Golf Galaxy to see if they had any Mizuno BC-7s I could fool around with, but I ended up tooling around with some of their other putters. After a turkey sub from Quiznos, I went home, hung out, and then hit up the rec center for day 9 of Core Performance. So far, so good, though I got stomach cramps during my run. I came home and showered, and then I went to the farmer's market for dinner, a bowl of rice noodles with grilled chicken. Delicious. I think I might have accidentally eaten pork in my egg rolls. Oh well. The night is ending EARLY for me...I just bought a shit ton of stuff online: Cookie's shorts, and a NEW PUTTER. Yeah, I just already went for the BC-7. It is almost one of those "gut-feeling" senses of confidence.
But hey! New job+ Mircosoft royalties+ a security deposit I still need to transfer= some financial security.
Here is to the future.
